S.E Hinton’s story “the outsiders”
This takes place in tulsa,oklahoma in a really poor area. The conflict in this story is the socs are after the greasers because this character named Johnny who is with the greasers killed bob who is with the socs in self-defense. The socs want to get revenge for what Johnny did to their man bob. One lesson the story really says is that you should look out and stick with your family and friends thought any situation
Pony boy stood apart from everyone else because some people said cause of his long hair like for example when the socs tried to cut ponyboys hair off the then they accidentally cut his neck and when that happened the socs caught him all alone and I think some of the meaning of this story is to always stick with friends and family.

Ponyboy likes his brother soda better than darry because soda never really yells at him and darry does but Ponyboy said he still likes darry because he always there for him I think that darry yells at him probably because he wants him to get stronger mentally because everyone either talking about ponyboys hair and how long it is or that he is weak or something or trying to get him to fight.

The socs even had impact on ponyboys actions like huis brothers would always wonder where he would be like when he come home late for dinner because the socs would jump him or fight him or bully him they really never even ask him about it because I think that they already realized it but couldn’t really do nothing about when they were not around but that’s why they would always try to stay with each other.
The theme through the end of the book is that I think the main part is when the greasers and the socs got into a rumble and the greasers won so then after the fight the greasers and the socs made up so the lesson of the story is to keep it cool and real and always try to have a friendship or at least at like it when your around them that means that you don’t got to talk to them just to be nice that’s a big part I think of this story 100.
